I've 220 street 2019 virsion, which is very economic, ergonomic and rider friendly still today. In terms of comfort and milage it's just awesome. Best for family touring and daily commute.

In all service he told petrol is not good I am using hp premium petrol How is it possible It is fault of bike. Petrol digital and time never show correct. Bad experience with this bike.

I'm using since 2016 july, 96k kms done. 400kms in a day. Riding comfort is unbeatable. Rider position is great for height below 5'8".Pillion seat is worst. Mileage is OK. Pickup is very poor when trying for sudden acceleration. Build and parts are cheap quality. Chain Sprocket gives maximum life of 30k kms if if maintained well else below 25k kms. Starter motor replaced in 56k kms, battery and cdi replaced around 60k kms, magneto and regulator replaced in 92k kms, rear indicator is not waterproof and damage quickly. Water enter inside headlamps, speedometer, fuel gauge etc because of cheap build. Else routine service only. Service is good(not best) in my city. Comparing with other cruisers, its handling cost is very less with Very comfortable riding.

Very good bike in this price, I travelled three times in last 3 years from kolkata to sikkim, reached 17000 ft altitude, naver facing any problem

Im riding this bike since 8years and had not even a single complaint! I have bought this bike in 2011! And till now I haven’t changed the bike! This is the best bike for long rides and mountain rides! It is so comfortable for long rides! I rode this bike for 450km with only a single 10min break! If you are a bike enthusiastic, You can go for this bike!

i brought this bike on Jan, unfortunately from the day 3 or so engine is getting excess HEAT complained about this many times no action taken from KHAVIRAJ Motors worst engineers irrespective of handling customer, 27th april, 19 i given 2nd service after that also no change in the engine heat now i am selling this bike :( chandra shekar, Harsha KN 7975796373 you are very unprofessional. Please when it comes 1st, please take immediate action. Or i have to take legal action.

At its price, Bajaj Avenger is value for money and comfortable for rider. I am riding Bajaj Avenger 220 since 2012 and have tested it successfully in planes, hilly roads of Uttarakhand and offroad also. If company could provide rear disk brakes and comfortable pillion seat then it would be complete cruiser budget bike.

Today I fell down from bike because of rear break problems. Am injured. It's skid when I press front break. am 15km spread when I taking left side turn. Seriously am decided to change my bike. Cruiser bikes are meant only for long distance travels, it's true, but the potential of the bike is more than just touring. I was surprised my bike could push beyond 135kmh which was very shocking and exciting. Speedometer Reading would be +/- 5kmh deviation. The bike has a full fledged potential to race through traffic once you get used to riding this bike. Ofcourse there is a lot of maintenance work that comes along frequently and random. Maggie fault was my starter motor was completely replaced due to manufacturing defect. But since I am ok with getting the bike to service station now and then, the everyday riding experience with this bike is flawless. A professional racer/rider would say: "winning a race is not always about the bike, but its all about the rider"

Pros Good in comfort for single long drive, Can expect Mileage 40-45 KM/Ltr. Looks awesome. Up to 90km speed there will be no vibration but after 90km its like out of your control. Good power, it will have the same power even if you ride 200km nonstop. Cons Awful rear DRUM break, its completely hapless. Pillion rider seat is horrible cant even sit continuously for 60km Maintenance is costly, ie. Frequent services are mandatory. every 2500km you should change the engine oil and required service or else you can feel the low performance. Since the bike is long and bad rear drum brake, it tends to skid easily many times when we apply front break. Turning required more space. After completing 20000km the bike sound will get change and service center people gives some bullshit reasons and make you feel it was original sound but not.,, etc

This review is after 20 months usage. This is basically a Indian made luxury look highway bike. Positives: Beautiful looks, Easily cruise at 85 - 90 kmph for long distances with no strain or vibration on the engine. We can easily do 200 kms non stop. This is not a race bike and the max speed is 15 - 20% lower than other 200cc bikes. Smooth bike. Powerful headlight and very a comfortable rider seat. Mileage 35 in city and 47 in highways without gear shifting. Negatives: Not suitable for people above 6 foot. Needs lots of space to turn. Cannot do short turns easily. Feels heavy because of low height and long length when pushed. This bike is like a chariot. Not pothole friendly. Pillion seat is hard. Bad idea from bajaj to keep drum brakes for heavy rear tyre. Drum brakes are useless above 40 kmph in this bike.

Good looking bike but the main problems are,.............. 1) No kick start too much problem in winter. 2) Need a car's space to turn. 3) Heavy fuel consumption. 4) Problem for tall person. 5) Only for style but no Good ENGINE. 6) After 22000 km sound like cracked bamboo. ******* But Honda Unicorn 150 better than it.

The rear drum brake is a problem in the highlands as it does not function properly. If disc brake is fitted then it would give better performance. I am having much prob regarding the rear drum brake with my Avenger street 220.

Bought street 220 on Feb 2016 and 14000/-km completed. Starting problem changed new battery 3 times within 4 years, wiring problem automatically brake light on battery wire disconnected poor quality wires used. Done rewiring, Now Gear problem it is struck.. O have to give service. Spending more money to repair than the cost of petrol. How Bajaj selling this bike more than 1Lakh. DONT BUY THIS BIKE!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!! I am going to sell this bike. PLEASE DONT BUY!!!!!

5 months back i bought avanger 220 street . within four months auto starter failed. bike giving bad sound and shaking above 60 speed . very worst service from bajaj , to replace auto starter they are taking more than 25 days . i am staying in hyderabad ameerpet. if they took to 24 says to deploy spare part to hyderabad , i don’t know how much time they will take for rural areas and b grade cities. customer support also very worst they are also not responding properly. dont go for it poor pickup , popr service .

Very bad customer support they dont care if you complaint very bad rear brake design . Service centre is unable to explain the technical difference beteeen cruise and street .street handle is uncomfortable i started getting frequent shoulder pain after buying it .
