The emphasis on infotainment is evident, enhancing the overall in-car experience. Additionally, this model surpasses its predecessor in comfort, promising a more luxurious journey.

  • Based on the MLB platform, the A5 is sturdily built
  • The A5 is only available with the sporty variants
  • The RS5 is quite the looker

Cons

  • Low on connected car features
  • The S5 looks simple and very understated

Verdict

It is a niche model, and also given that it will be a direct import - so that price is more attractive than you think. But with BMW assembling the M340i locally, an over 10 lakh price difference between the two in favour of the Bimmer.  But it is good to see Audi getting us many brand shaping and relevant models. And especially a car like the S5 - which arrives at a time when many premium brands are once again showing some love to the sedan space.
