Detailed Comparision - |
The Honda CB100R Plus adopts the design language of the futuristic, neo-retro design first unveiled as the Neo Sports Cafe concept at the 2017 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. While the styling is somewhat retro, the CB1000R Plus is a completely modern motorcycle with features like a full-colour TFT instrument panel, ride-by-wire, traction control system, ABS and four riding modes – standard, sport, rain and user. The CB1000R Plus also comes with additional features like a quickshifter, heated grips, and cosmetic add-ons such as a flyscreen, seat cowl, front fender panel, hugger panel and radiator grill. The biggest USP of the CB1000R Plus is the neo retro design with sculpted lines, brushed aluminium radiator covers, LED headlamp and a single-sided swingarm.
The CB1000R Plus is powered by a 999 cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine which puts out 143 bhp at 10,500 rpm and 104 Nm at 8,250 rpm, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The long stroke motor allows more torque in the low and mid-range rather than backslapping performance. Suspension system consists of 43 mm Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Forks-Big Piston) up front and a Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock connected via a single-sided swingarm. Braking is handled by 310 mm twin disc brakes at the front and a 256 mm single disc at the rear. The Honda CB1000R Plus has a 212 kg kerb weight.
