It was an iconic model and one of the finest cruisers ever built and is equipped with modern features and elegant fenders, which have featured since 1940 in all Indian Motorcycles, along with the traditional big ‘Indian’ badging on the fuel tank. The Indian Chief Classic has been discontinued.

The Indian Chief Classic is one of the most iconic bikes and it's now in India. It is one of the finest cruisers ever built and just like the other bikes, is equipped with modern features. Some of the features on the bike harken to the 40s like the big 'Indian' badging on the fuel tank and the design on the front and rear fenders. The front fender evens gets the iconic 'War Bonnet' and the same covers its brake callipers. The tank-mounted console has a large, easy-to-read analog speedometer and it's easy to see how the company has managed to fuse the worlds of classic and contemporary. The Indian Chief Classic is powered by a new Thunder Stroke 111 engine and comes with ABS and a hidden rear suspension.
