Mahindra forayed into the competitive sub-four meter SUV segment with Quanto, which is primarily a chopped down version of its MPV, Xylo. The Quanto range, like most of other SUVs from Mahindra is available in diesel variants. Mated to a five-speed manual transmission the 1.5 litre, oil-burner develops 100bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. Exterior styling is suave with an aggressive front end, muscular wheel arches and black cladding emphasizing the rugged look. On the inside, the SUV has ample space to accommodate five occupants and packs in all vital goodies. The sub-compact SUV comes equipped with dual front airbags and ABS with EBD on select variants.
