The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has achieved a five-star safety rating in both the latest Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash tests.
Maruti Suzuki’s Victoris cleared the BNCAP safety rating process with a five-star rating. The SUV has been tested for front crash protection, side crash protection, and child protection, along with other safety assist technologies.
The variant tested by BNCAP was the top-spec ZXI+ strong hybrid eCVT variant with a crash test weight of 1,549kg. However, it gets safety features similar to the base variant and the safety rating applies to it as well. As a result, the assessment covers all models including the petrol manual, automatic, as well as strong-hybrid variants, be it an entry-level or the top-of-the-line version.
| Maruti Suzuki Victoris BNCAP Safety Rating | Total | Scored |
| Adult Occupant Protection | 32 | 31.66 |
| Child Occupant Protection | 49 | 43 |
Interestingly, the Victoris also cleared the latest safety testing rounds of the Global NCAP, and scored a five-star rating there as well. This is the second model from the Maruti Suzuki to score full marks after the Dzire achieved it in November 2024.
In the frontal offset test on a RHD model of the Victoris, the SUV provided good protection to the front passenger and adequate protection to the driver's chest and right leg. In the side movable barrier test, protection was good for the head and lower body, and adequate for the chest. The Victoris also scored well in the side impact pole test on all parameters.

All versions of the Victoris boast six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, and electronic stability control as standard. Moreover, the front two seats offer seatbelts with pretensioners and load-limiters, while the two rear outboard seats offer ISOFIX anchorage.
The Victoris is now the hero model for Maruti Suzuki's Arena chain of models. The five-star safety rating in India helped it earn accolades in the country and the GNCAP rating will further strengthen its image and position for the carmaker's export plans for the SUV.
