Maruti Suzuki Victoris

Maruti Suzuki launched the Victoris SUV in India at a starting price of Rs. 10.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). It is offered in six variants across 10 colours and three engine options.

Exterior

In terms of exterior appearance, the Victoris gets a new face in line with Maruti's new design language. It comprises of a new grille, LED DRLs, and headlamps. Then, at the back, there's a connected LED tail light bar, shark-fin antenna, and a powered tailgate with gesture control. The SUV gets white front and rear skid plates, squared-off wheel arches, and rides on 17-inch (215/60 section) dual-tone aero-cut alloys.

Interior

Inside, the Victoris is replete with new-age features including a 10.25-inch fully digital infotainment screen, 10.1-inch instrument cluster, 64-colour ambient lighting, and an Alexa assistant. Moreover, it gets Suzuki Maps with traffic and speed recognition, Infinity x Dolby Atmos audio with eight speakers, eight-way power-adjustable ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. There are two new interior colourways and soem variants can be had with an underbody CNG tank with a ‘concealed space’ concept.

Engine and Gearbox

In terms of engine options, Maruti Suzuki has powered the Victoris by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, alogn with mild- and strong-hybrid powertrains. The mid-size SUV is offered in eight variants across FWD and 4WD configurations – LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi (O), ZXi+, ZXi+ (O), ZXi+ 4WD, and ZXi+(O) 4WD. On the transmission front, options include a five-speed manual, six-speed automatic with paddle shifters, and an eCVT (strong hybrid). What's more, there are four terrain and three driving modes on offer as well.
