Tata Hatchback Cars in India

This is the first substantial update for Tata's premium hatchback since its market launch in January 2020, which will add a handful of new features.

With Tata Motors all set to launch the Altroz Racer over the next few days, here are all the ways in which it differs from the standard model

The 45X concept's production version is set to make its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show next month and ahead of the official unveil, Tata Motors has announced the name for its upcoming hatchback. The new premium hatchback has been christened as the Tata Altroz and is expected to hit the markets in the second half of the year. The Tata 45X concept was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and will spawn a new hatchback that will take on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20 and the likes. Tata will reveal the new Altroz on March 5, 2019 at the annual auto show.

The X451 will be the first model to use the company's all-new Advanced Modular Platform (AMP), which is expected to underpin a host of models from the automaker in the future. Engine options are likely to remain the the 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel from the Nexon.

The Tata 45X concept will also take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Hyundai i20 and the next generation Volkswagen Polo.
