We truly are living in a digital India."

On the first day of the online sale, the company had closed the day by selling electric scooters worth over Rs. 600 crore. When the purchase window is open, customers could book the scooter online for a minimum booking amount of Rs. 20,000. However, if you missed the purchase window, you can still reserve a spot for yourself online at Rs. 499, for the next sale day, which will now be on November 1, 2021.

Aggarwal further added, "While the purchase window is now closed, our reservations remain open on olaelectric.com and I want to let all of you know that we will be reopening the purchase window on November 1, 2021, just in time for Diwali. So, if you'd like to buy the Ola S1 and the S1 Pro, then I encourage you to reserve asap. Those who have already reserved but did not purchase in the window that ended yesterday will also be able to purchase on November 1."

The Ola S1 is priced at Rs. 1 lakh, while the S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1.30 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The prices could further go down at the time of delivery, depending on state subsidies on EVs across the country. Deliveries are set to begin in October this year across 1000 cities and towns. The base model Ola S1 will come with a top speed of 90 kmph and a range of up to 121 km on a single charge. The S1 Pro, on the other hand, will offer a top speed of around 115 kmph and a range of up to 181 km.
