Ather Energy spent years making a name for itself in the Indian market as the maker of fast, technology-heavy electric scooters with its 450 series. However, with the Ather Konarc, the Bengaluru-based brand has entered the high-volume family space this time.
The Konarc gets a new steel unibody frame with a large single-piece seat and a big 14-inch front wheel paired with a 12-inch rear wheel. It directly challenges other electric names like the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak Series 25.
Our road test review of the Konarc was done by Amaan Ahmed. He observed,
“The Rizta helped Ather get a foot in the door. The Konarc will help kick it down, so Ather can make its way to the top.”
