The 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 found in the Ferrari 488 Pista has won the international Engine Of The Year Award.

For the second year running, the 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 that powers the 488 GTB, 488 Spider and with a slightly smaller displacement the California T and GTC4Lusso T, has bagged the International Engine of the Year Award along with the Performance Engine class and the 3-litre to 4-litre displacement category.

The results of the 2016 Engine of the Year have been announced and the winner is something that blew our minds away when we got a chance to experience it on the 488 GTB. Yes, it was from Ferrari and none other than the twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 which comes fitted to the 488 GTB, 488 Spider, and California T.

Italian marque Ferrari has launched its 458 Italia successor in India today called the Ferrari 488 GTB. The 488 has been priced at Rs. 3.88 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is now available to purchase from Ferrari dealerships across the country.
