Front Profile

The bigger and better seven-slat grille in black has been redesigned for efficiency and enhanced engine airflow. The upright windshield is made of Corning Gorilla Glass. This windshield is foldable as well, simplifying navigation and elevating your driving confidence.

The result is less vulnerability to cracks and scratches. The Black Freedom Top three-piece modular hardtop offers all-weather protection to the cabin.

Side Profile

Every Wrangler has the potential for personalisation. You can remove the doors and customise the vehicle into an open SUV. It offers you an open-air experience and better visibility when navigating tight parking spaces or rugged terrains.

Rear Profile

When we explored the back, no noticeable changes were visible. You still get the split tailgate with a glass opening separation. The Wrangler's square tail lamps stay put with a full-size spare wheel mounted at the back.

The Jeep Wrangler 2024 top model has comfort that makes your drive feel like a breeze. While riding, our focus remained on how pleasant our experience was when sitting inside the adventure machine.

Cabin layout

The cabin is spacious, and the centre console houses the old-school buttons for easy functioning. You can play around with 35+ buttons, three dials, two knobs, and a toggle switch to change the settings however you like.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The latest variants have a modern 12.3-inch touchscreen with a new user interface of Jeep’s Uconnect software. It is now more in line with the upper dashboard. It has a seamless touch response and allows you to navigate and play music with a single tap.

Comfort

The heated seats and steering wheel ensure that you have a relaxing experience. It will surely come in handy when driving up in the Himalayas, but it is not useful when stuck in traffic on a summer day. Almost everything inside the Wrangler Rubicon is waterproof. You never have to worry about internal damage even if you are crossing a river.

Seating Structure

The five-seater Wrangler Rubicon is comfortable and comes equipped with electric adjustments at the front. The second row is present, but the backrest doesn’t recline and the seat squab lacks sufficient length. That makes the car good enough for quick explorations but not intercity travel when the passengers might like to take a nap. The middle seat is mostly used as an armrest with cupholders.

The Jeep Wrangler prices are set to suit premium lifestyles. We use New Delhi OEM prices for consistency.

As expected, a turbocharged petrol engine hauling over two tonnes will not offer the mileage of a hybrid. Upon our personal observation, the real-world mileage differs from the claimed numbers.

If driving on city roads regularly in heavy traffic, the Rubicon mileage drops closer to 5 to 6 kmpl.

The Jeep Wrangler 2024 facelift does not back down when it comes to safety. During our drives, we tested several functions such as the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) hardware. The Wrangler offers efficient emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. You can switch them off or on depending on your requirements. This model has not yet been rated by Global/Bharat NCAP. However, the structural integrity and hardware compensate for everyday driving confidence.

The boot space is vast in the Jeep Wrangler. It has an off-road structure like a rugged suspension and a firm roll cage.

We drove the Jeep Wrangler off-road and spent a few days in the city for commutes. The new Wrangler is much more road-friendly compared to the previous iteration. The vehicle is smooth to drive on every terrain. Once it moves beyond the basic roads, the suspension absorbs shocks and vibrations, enabling you to handle the steering with utmost comfort and confidence.

Observed ride and handling traits during our evaluation

• The body-on-frame nature is pliant and smothers surprise potholes.
• Steering manoeuvring amidst smaller SUVs is effortless.
• Rear passenger roll is still noticeable during inter-city driving.
