The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX certainly looks the part, flaunting its drop-dead gorgeous superbike looks with elan. There is the new styling template as part of the 2021 update, complete with the brand new single-sided muffler. The brand new exhaust setup has a 4-into-2-into pre-chamber into-1 system.

This enhances the sporty design of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX and the single-sided muffler helps in reducing roughly 2 Kg of weight which is a blessing in disguise! The Kawasaki Cornering Management Functionality also helps greatly in tracking chassis and engine parameters throughout corners.

This includes corner entry, apex and exit. Engine power and brake force are neatly modulated for enabling smoother transitions to braking from acceleration and back. There are Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres which enable lighter handling and superior grip throughout both wet and dry terrains. This naturally enhances rider pleasure and confidence alike. The compact digital instrument cluster looks stylish and the new metre comes equipped with added features. The instrument panel comes with inbuilt Bluetooth connectivity via the RIDEOLOGY THE APP smartphone application. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX also gets integrated riding modes including Road, Sport or Rain. There is a manual Rider setting too.

How is the performance of Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX ?

With superior technologies and features, it goes without saying that the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX performs splendidly. The 1043 cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine has strong pulling power all throughout the rev band. Engine responses are superb with the strong mid-range and heady exhaust/throttle note. Electronic cruise control also contributes towards ensuring smoother power delivery. The engine makes 140 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 111 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

Is the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX good value for money?

If you take the huge sticker price into account, then the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX will not seem much of a value proposition, particularly on Indian roads. However, true riding enthusiasts and superbike lovers will consider the sheer speed, performance, power and refinement on offer. There is a truckload of smart features and a really appealing design as other plus points. True superbike connoisseurs may find this a value addition to their collections.
