The new GL slightly larger in dimensions, is accompanied by features like electric power steering, crosswind assist, ESP, hill descent function as well as Mercedes patent COMAND system. It turns out to be a smooth drive under the 2987cc V6 diesel engine gurgling 258bhp and attached to a seven-speed automatic transmission. It is priced at Rs 77.9 lakhs.
