4. Loaded on Safety

5. Responsive Engines

The powertrain has always been a high point on the Venue and the facelift makes sure the same units are carried over. The 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine belts out 82 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque and is paired with only a 5-speed manual gearbox. Up next, it's the peppy 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor with 118 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed iMT unit. DCT version also comes with paddle shifters and three drive modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport. Lastly, there's the peppy and frugal 1.5-litre diesel with 99 bhp and 240 Nm and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Sadly, the Venue does not get a diesel-automatic combination that's seen on its cousin, the Kia Sonet.
