About Triumph Bonneville

Built on the simple tubular steel frame, Triumph Bonneville derives power from the 865cc engine. The air-cooled, DOHC engine churns out max power output of 67bhp at 7500rpm and is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. Suspension duties are served by 41mm forks in front and kayaba chromes spring twin rear shocks. The bike features a low capacity fuel tank and delivers relatively low fuel efficiency. Stopping power is generated by disc brakes in front and rear.  The classic bike dons a vintage look from 1950s, ample chrome work on the outside goes well with the dated look.

The British motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph is a new member in Indian motorcycle industry having its root in foreign land. Quite renowned for making classic bikes, Triumph has come up with a couple of models plucked from its global portfolio for the Indian market. One such model that has been introduced in India is the Bonneville. The birth of this classic model dates back to 1959, in its long itinerary the bike has undergone various overhauls improving on cosmetic and mechanical front. The India bound Bonneville features a high displacing 865cc engine producing healthy power and torque output. Kayaba 41mm front forks and kayaba chromed spring twin rear shocks carry out suspension duties.

Triumph Bonneville Looks

Constructed on the simple tubular steel frame Bonneville sports classy looks. The bike gets an analogue speedometer with odometer, trip meter and a clock, however it is bereft of the tachometer. The sculpted fuel tank goes with the vintage looks and muscular stance. Chrome is used abundantly on the bike, the handle bars are wide and in front the bike features rounded head lamp. The long seat offers enough room to rider as well as pillion.
