What's New?
The 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator has made a bold entry into the Indian market, offering a fresh take on the cruiser segment with its modern design and approachable dynamics. Initially launched at ₹5.62 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike recently saw a minor price revision, now retailing at ₹5.76 lakh. Despite the hike, it remains an appealing option for riders seeking a stylish and practical cruiser with premium touches and everyday usability.
At the core of the Kawasaki Eliminator is a 451cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that’s derived from the Ninja 400 platform but upgraded with a longer stroke for improved low-end torque. This engine produces around 49 PS of power and 38 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The power delivery is smooth and predictable, making it suitable for both city commuting and weekend getaways.
One of the standout elements of the Eliminator is its distinctive cruiser styling. It features a low-slung stance, a teardrop-shaped 13-litre fuel tank, round LED headlamp, chopped rear fender, and wide handlebars — all of which contribute to its classic-meets-modern aesthetic. The 2025 model comes in a single, stealthy Metallic Flat Spark Black paint scheme, adding to its road presence.
The Eliminator is built on a lightweight trellis frame that offers a balanced ride with good handling, especially for a cruiser. Suspension duties are managed by 41 mm telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel setup, giving it a relaxed stance and stability on highways. Braking performance is ensured by a 310 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both with dual-channel ABS.
What truly sets the Eliminator apart is its low seat height of 735 mm — one of the lowest in its class — making it incredibly accessible to a wide range of riders. It also comes equipped with a digital LCD instrument cluster that includes essential readouts like gear position, fuel level, and trip meters. While it doesn’t overdo the features, it focuses on delivering a clean, engaging riding experience with reliable performance and comfort.
With its striking design, refined engine, and rider-friendly ergonomics, the Kawasaki Eliminator is an exciting proposition for those looking to enter the premium cruiser segment in India.
