Did rent the bike for 1 day, about 300 km in the Alps . First impression: looks gorgeous! Comfy position and ergonomics, even standing up for me(180 cm).
Ride was strange: complete lack of motorcycle acceleration, then above 5,000 rpm some excitement, and sudden interruption at 9,000 : don't know what the 12,000 rpm meter marking is for.
The brakes are spongy: initial bike were mushy, second bike very strong: almost got me in trouble!
Ride is like a pogo stick: jumpy and nervous on any pot or road imperfections

Large tank and around 4l per 100km fuel consumption.

The Benelli TRK 502, I purchased in 2019 at INR 6.25Lakhs. it's very attractive in Nature and one will fall love with it. The Strong road appearance and if you are jumping from any 200cc and over this one is definitely your choice.
I have completed almost 18000/- km with same. And My bike has influenced me a lot.
Drawbacks:
1. Bike is too heavy, and difficult to ride in Traffic.
2. It's gearbox is very clumsy, with no slipper clutch makes it difficult to find Neutral.
3. Very important, spares are not available in Mumbai workshops, and always u will be kept waited.
4. Servicing is very costly, and they charge unnecessarily more than required, INR 178/- rs for both Cleaner and Lubricant each they charge, whereas Market price of INR 150/- each bottle cost individually.
5. Labour charges depending upon what individual work you choose.
6. Better to go for any another brand, as they take care of Bikes well.
Italian bike maker Benelli is back in India after a brief hiatus and the manufacturer kick-started its second innings with the TRK 502 and the TRK 502X adventure motorcycles. The models were launched at introductory prices and were scheduled to witness an increase over time. Benelli India has now hiked prices on the TRK range by Rs. 10,000, with prices now starting at Rs. 5.10 lakh for the TRK 502 and Rs. 5.50 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India) for the TRK 502X. The updated prices were revealed at the inauguration of the bike maker's new dealership in Noida, UP. The new prices came into effect since April 21, 2019.
We finally get our hands on the much awaited, highly anticipated, Benelli TRK 502 and its off-road version, the Benelli TRK 502 X. These motorcycles have been a long time coming and they hold a lot of promise!
