BMW X3

Introduction 

• Enter 2026 and a new top-of-the-line BMW X3 is available.
• This is the 30 xDrive M Sport Pro variant priced at Rs. 74.5 lakh ex-showroom.
• Well, BMW had launched this new generation of the X3 in India at the Expo at the start of 2025.
• Currently in its fourth generation, the X3 is available in both petrol and diesel engine options.

• The 2026 BMW X3 adopts the carmaker's latest design language.
• It boasts an illuminated BMW kidney grille which has grown in size but is proportionate on this one.
• The SUV also sports dual L-shaped LED structures in the headlights acting as DRLs and turn indicators.
• Interestingly, the M Sport variants also get M badges inside out to highlight the M-specific sporty attributes.
• Moreover, the new X3 rides on 19-inch alloys that look spectacular.
• Lastly, the vehicle gets LED tail lamps which unlike the latest trend are not "connected".

Interior 2026 BMW X3

• The 2026 BMW X3 gets a modern and neatly laid out dashboard.
• Its USP is the centre console design and the door pad elements integrated with LED lights.
• Other highlights include a flat-bottom steering wheel and curved dual screens.
• The latter boast BMW's latest iDrive 9 system.

Powertrain of the 2026 BMW X3

• As mentioned earlier, the BMW X3 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options.
• While there's only one diesel powertrain option, petrol buyers get two choices.
• The oil-burner is a 2.0-litre unit producing 197bhp and 400Nm of torque.
• On the other hand, there's a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing around 200bhp and 320Nm of torque.
• But there's also an even more powerful version of the petrol churning out 255bhp and 400Nm of torque.
• This also gets a mild-hybrid technology with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
• All engine options come mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
