Pros Cons of Moto Guzzi V85 TT

Pros

  • Gets a unique character of its own
  • Decently capable off-road
  • Well-tuned suspension

Cons

  • Not the most stylish bike
  • High centre of gravity
  • Limited after-sales support

Verdict

The Moto Guzzi V85 TT is a stylish motorcycle which is a hot take on an adventure motorcycle, from Moto Guzzi. Here, TT stands for Tutto Tureno, which is Italian speak for all-terrain. It gets a bunch of electronics like traction control, ABS, riding modes, full-colour TFT and Bluetooth connectivity. In ters of cycle parts, the motorcycle also gets a large fuel tank, adjustable windscreen and spoked wheels shod with dual-sport riders. The 853 cc, transverse v-twin, two-valve engine makes 75 bhp at 7,500 rpm, which is slightly lower than the earlier model's 79 bhp. The engine now produces 82 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm, as against 81.3 Nm of the previous model. The problem though, is limited reach of the brand and poor brand recall.

Pros Cons Ducati SuperSport

Pros

  • Looks sharp
  • Torque-friendly motor
  • Handles like a charm

Cons

  • Too dedicated riding posture
  • Vibrations can be annoying
  • Can get a little hot in city speeds

Verdict

The new Ducati SuperSport will certainly appeal to those looking to upgrade to a full-faired Ducati sportbike, without compromising on ergonomics or comfort for regular use. The Ducati SuperSport certainly makes a very good example for an easy to ride Ducati sportbike with entertaining performance for the experienced rider, and that itself makes a very good case to consider one. Starting at ₹ 12.08, it's certainly not entry-level pricing, and that is the only downside we could think of.
