Honda CB Unicorn Specifications

Updated to meet stricter OBD2B norms, Honda’s trusted 160 cc commuter now packs more features, but is also considerably more expensive than the 2024 model.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the Combi Brake System (CBS) versions of the CB Shine, Navi and CD Dream DX, along with the ABS-equipped CB Unicorn for the model year 2019. All two-wheelers have been updated to meet the upcoming safety regulations with the deadline set for March 31, 2019. While most of the Honda range is already equipped with the safety feature, these are the last of the models to get the safety systems to comply with the norms. The company first introduced CBS on its two-wheelers as early as 2009.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has updated the long-running CB Unicorn 150 with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) in the country. The 2019 Honda CB Unicorn 150 is priced at Rs. 78,815 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and is about Rs. 6500 more expensive than the non-ABS version. The bike now gets a single-channel ABS unit like a lot of the manufacturer's other offerings and is paired with the front wheel's 240 mm disc brake. The rear continues to get a 130 mm drum brake set-up. The Honda CB Unicorn 150 is one of the longest running models from the bike maker in India and such has been the demand, that the model was brought back on sale despite the updated 160 cc version being introduced a couple of years ago.

Honda CB Unicorn 160 with a BS-IV engine and Automatic Headlights On function has been launched in India priced at Rs. Rs. 73,552. The 2017 version also gets a new Matte Marvel Blue shade, a longer visor and new graphics.
