However, in an amusing turn of events, a customer - Rakesh Gupta - in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh decided to purchase a new Honda Activa 125 BS6 on the auspicious occasion of Diwali but decided to pay for the same only in coins. Priced at nearly Rs. 83,000 (on-road), the dealership took about three hours to count the money.

Honda Cliq, the utility scooter from the Japanese manufacturer has recently crossed 10,000 sales mark in India. Honda Two Wheelers has sold over 10,000 units of the Honda Cliq in India in less than 4 months. The scooter is based on the Activa and is aimed at the rural market.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 'Honda Cliq' 110 cc scooter priced at Rs. 42,499 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Cliq is a rugged automatic scooter developed to maximise utility with additional value of comfort and convenience for utilitarian customers, the Japanese two wheeler maker said in a statement.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2017 version of the Activa 125 with a host of updates. The look of the scooter is more or less the same, with the chrome plate on the front apron. The only change is that the front end also houses new LED position lamps and a bigger Honda Two Wheeler badge up front. Honda says that this is the first automatic scooter which gets both, a BS IV engine and auto headlamp on (AHO).
