Honda Activa and Indian households have shared a long-standing connection for years. With the Activa e, Honda is trying to shift to electric without losing that familiarity. Launched in late 2024, this version is built as a city-focused commuter for buyers who want the same dependability without petrol.
In our evaluation, the design stays close to what people already trust but adds a cleaner and more modern finish. It feels sporty and appealing in person, and the overall look is cohesive and likely to age well. Among family-oriented electric scooters, this stands out as one of the better-looking options right now and does not feel like a compromise.

City Riding Experience
In city traffic, we found that the Activa e feels easy and predictable. The throttle response is smooth and progressive, with enough response for everyday use. Up to 50–60 kmph, acceleration feels linear and usable, especially in Standard mode. Ride quality is comfortable, though slightly bouncy over rough roads.

Highway Riding Experience
Designed mainly for city use, the Activa e remains stable on highways but isn’t built for long rides. It cruises comfortably at 70–80 kmph, with enough performance for short runs. It feels planted, though acceleration tapers off past 70 kmph. Overtakes need planning, and performance may be reduced at low battery levels.
