Suzuki E-Access

Introduction

• Suzuki launched the new e-Access in India at Rs 1.88 lakh in January 2026.
• It is the electric version of the ICE Access and now available in four colours.
• The new dual-tone colour option is a Metallic Mat Stellar Blue with Metallic Mat Fibroin Grey.
• The latter colour was added with the booking’s announcement, otherwise the scooter was offered in three colour schemes.
• The e-Access was first showcased in 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
• Its price tag makes it compete with the Ather Rizta and the TVS iQube.

Features and Equipment of the Suzuki e-Access

• As for the features on the Suzuki e-Access, it sports most of the features from the existing Access scooter.
• The electric scooter boasts LED lighting and two-tone alloy wheels.
• It even gets a belt drive system designed for minimal maintenance.
• Not a feature, but for the benefit of buyers, the Suzuki e-Access will be sold across the existing network of over 1,200 sales and service outlets.
• Moreover, DC fast-charging facilities are currently available at more than 240 locations.
• That said, portable AC chargers are offered across the network.
• What's more, Suzuki has also trained EV-specific technicians for aftersales support for the e-Access.

Powertrain of the Suzuki e-Access

• The Suzuki e-Access is powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery.
• Suzuki claims that it offers a longer service life compared to conventional battery chemistries.
• It uses a 4.1kW electric motor producing 15Nm of torque.
• The e-scooter features three ride modes such as Eco, Ride A, and Ride B.
• This is of course apart from the reverse mode and regenerative braking.
• Suzuki also claims that the performance remains consistent even at low battery charge levels.
• Then, to further add to the safety aspect, the battery is housed in an aluminium case integrated into the chassis.
• The latter integration is aimed at improving rigidity and handling of the Suzuki e-Access.
