Compared to March 2021, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer's overall sales declined by 22 per cent, when it had sold 5,76,957 units.

Out of this, utility vehicles accounted for 27,380 units, whereas combined sales of cars and vans, which include EVs, stood at 223 units.

Hyundai India recorded a marginal month-on-month (MoM) growth of 1.24 per cent in the domestic market as it sold 44,050 units in February 2022.

Kia also recorded its best quarterly sales with over 60,000 units dispatched between January and March 2022.
