TVS Radeon 110 Gets 2 New Colours; Priced At Rs. 50,070

TVS Motor Company has introduced two new colours for the Radeon 110 cc commuter motorcycle. The TVS Radeon is now available in Titanium Grey and Volcano Red shades and is now priced at Rs. 50,070 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the launch of Rs. 48,400, the updated Radeon is about Rs. 1200 more expensive. The new colours are available in addition to Metal Black, Pearl White, Royal Purple and Golden Beige shades that have been on offer since the launch in August last year. Barring the new colour options, the TVS commuter does not get any changes to the mechanicals.

    Scooters continue to remain top sellers for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) bringing in the chunk of volumes. While it is the Activa leading the sales charts always, the Dio isn't too bad either on the sales front. In fact, the Honda Dio 110 cc scooter has crossed the 30 lakh sales milestone, adding a new feather to its hat. Honda says the first 15 lakh sales took 14 years to achieve, but the latest 15 lakh sales were registered in just three years. That's five times faster than the earlier pace, which has helped the Dio grow into India's fourth largest selling scooter. The milestone also comes at a time when the domestic auto industry is undergoing a lull phase over the past few months.

    Two-Wheeler Sales April 2019: Royal Enfield Sales Decline For The 4th Consecutive Month
    Chennai-based motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield reported a decline of 17 per cent in sales for April 2019. The manufacturer sold 62,,879 units last month, a significant drop in volumes when compared to 76,187 units that were sold in April last year, as per the regulatory filing. This is the fourth consecutive month where the bike maker has seen a drop in volumes with the overall auto industry gravely affected by the sluggish growth in volumes. Apart from RE, Hero also reported a drop of 17 per cent in sale for last month.
