Exclusive: Wagon R Based 7 Seater MPV May Launch As A Nexa Offering In June 2019
The car with the powerhouse brand - Maruti Suzuki Wagon R - recently moved to a larger platform and new engines at the start of the year. One of the key reasons Maruti did that was to be able to also sport a larger wheelbase 3-row MPV version of the car with a 7-Seater USP. That vehicle is now ready for launch, and is likely to be sold exclusively through Nexa - Maruti's premium retail channel. It is a decision Maruti is still finalising according to sources. The reason for the dilemma is the fact that Wagon R sales have shrunk - since the new car is bigger and positioned as a higher model than the previous car, which served as a massive volumes model given its entry positioning.

Up front, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 will get a new headlamp cluster which will sport the new boomerang shaped daytime running lights. The front bumper gets redesigned aprons and the fenders also have been tweaked to go with the new profile. At the side, the profile looks identical to the current car and the rear gets new taillamps along with a new bumper.

MG has said that the car will make its first public appearance on May 15 and MG Motor is expected to share all the details of the SUV then. The Hector, as we've already told you will be the first connected car in its segment and in fact the company has already shared pictures of the car. The Hector SUV gets bumper mounted LED headlamps and the daytime running lights (DRLs) are positioned right on top, close to the hood, a design element which is gaining prominence globally. Other elements include, faux-silver skid plates, roof mounted spoiler and diamond cut alloy wheels.

The all-new Hyundai Venue will be launched in India on May 21 and the Korean carmaker has finally started accepting bookings. Bookings for the Venue starts today for an amount of Rs. 21,000 at Hyundai's website and dealerships across India. The Hyundai Venue will be offered in India in four variants and seven exterior colour options- Denim Blue, Lava Orange and Deep Forest along with three Dual Tone options.
