The Tiago is presently the most selling offering for Tata Motors and the automaker plans to make the model more appealing by introducing a rugged variant of the hatchback. The Tata Tiago NRG (pronounced as Energy) will be the next major offering from the car maker and is all set to be launched tomorrow - September 12, 2018. The Tiago NRG will be retaining the mechanicals from the hatchback but will come with several visual upgrades to the exterior and interior. The cross-hatch segment has seen a lot of popularity in bigger models like the Honda WR-V and the Hyundai i20 Active, but the Tiago NRG will compete in a segment lower against the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X. With the launch just hours away, here's what you can expect from the Tata Tiago NRG.

Just days after announcing its new strategy for the Indian market, Japanese automaker Nissan Motor has released the first sketches of the upcoming Kicks compact SUV. The Nissan Kicks has been confirmed for an Indian launch in early 2019. The model will be the first of many new products across the Nissan and Datsun brand, which the company plans to introduce over the next few years. The Kicks SUV is already on sale internationally and is based on the V-platform. The India-spec version though will be based on the B0 that also underpins the Renault Duster and Captur, as well as the Nissan Terrano.

Honda Cars India has revealed the launch date of the new-generation of the CR-V in India. The Honda CR-V will launch on October 9, 2018 and in its fifth generation will look to topple established players in the country. The SUV will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Skoda Kodiaq and the Volkswagen Tiguan. The Honda CR-V is sharper and angular in terms of design and looks pretty sleek. Up front, the CR-V gets a thick chrome bar for the grille which is a signature as far as Honda is concerned and it's flanked by LED headlights and complemented by the LED fog lamps.

The next generation Mercedes-Benz GLE has been spotted testing for a number of times now and while we've seen the near production car in a host of image. The latest set of spy shots though give a clearest view yet of the all-new model. The spy shots of the new Mercedes GLE reportedly were taken after the car completed hot weather testing in the Middle East. Codenamed W167, the 2019 GLE will make its debut towards the end of this year, possibly at the Los Angeles Auto Show or Paris Motor Show, which is when we'll have all the details on the changes made to the SUV.

The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage made its global debut last year and the coupe is certainly one of the more desirable offerings to come from the Briitsh car maker. The baby Aston is more powerful, lighter and faster than its predecessor, while taking design cues from the DB10 Concept. With the India launch later this year, CarAndBike can now tell you that the new Vantage will carry a price tag of Rs. 2.95 crore (ex-showroom) when it goes on sale in the country. The price tag, of course, is for the base version with all the options to be charged extra.

The new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will be launched in India in early 2019. The new car has already been launched in Japan and is available there with a small 660 cc engine as it is classified under the Kei Car category. In India, the new Wagon R will most likely get the 1-litre K10 engine that already powers the car today and also powers the likes of the Alto K10 and the Celerio. While the current version of the car also gets CNG, it is not confirmed whether the new version of the car will get this alternate fuel option too. While there has been a lot of talk about the diesel version of the Wagon R in the past, considering the fact that the 1.3-litre engine might be a little too much and the smaller 2-cylinder diesel engine that Maruti offered on the Celerio in the past is too noisy, we guess the car will get only a petrol option. Incidentally, Maruti Suzuki sells about 14000 Wagon Rs every month!
