Images of an early prototype of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class have recently surfaced online. This is the first time the car has been spotted testing, and by the looks of it, the test mule in these images is an early prototype.

  Elon Musk Replaced As Tesla's Chairman By Robyn Denholm

  Tesla has announced to have appointed an new chairperson- Robyn Denholm who will replace Tesla's long existing current chairman, Elon Musk. The change in position comes after Musk recently being sued by the SEC for his infamous tweets over Tesla's going private for which both Musk and Tesla had to pay a penalty of $20 million. After the matter came into light, Musk was asked by the board to step down from his current position in the company. Earlier, in a series of tweets Musk has mentioned about taking Tesla private at $ 420 per share and he even claimed to have secured some funding.

  Skoda Scala Premium Hatchback Due For Global Unveil, Details Revealed

  Skoda has official announced that it will showcase the new Scala premium hatchback at an event in Tel Aviv, Israel on December 6, 2018. The new hatchback will essentially be a replacement for the now aging Skoda Fabia hatchback and will take on the likes of the Volkswagen Golf in international markets. What that means is that the Skoda hatchback will move up a notch from being a Polo competitor to a Golf competitor in Europe and across the world. The new hatchback will be based on the same MQB A0 platform that underpins the likes of the Skoda Octavia. As a distinction, the Skoda Scala will also be the first ever car from the brand that will not have the logo at the rear but instead will have S-K-O-D-A lettering on the tail gate instead.

  Mahindra Alturas G4 Bookings Open, Launch Date Announced

  The Mahindra Alturas G4 is the automaker's upcoming flagship SUV and bookings have now begun for the offering ahead of its launch on November 24, 2018. Dealerships across the country have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs. 50,000, while deliveries will commence by the end of this month, soon after the launch. The 'Alturas G4' is the name of the production-spec SUV, which was internally known as the Y400, and what was largely speculated to be called the XUV700 across the internet. The Alturas G4 moniker also diverts from Mahindra's strategy to have nameplates with the name ending with an 'O'. While Mahindra is yet to reveal prices on the Alturas, an aggressive strategy is expected from the company with the SUV carrying a price tag starting at Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

  McLaren Senna GTR Confirmed For Production

  McLaren will start the dynamic testing of the track-only supercar later this month and that is confirmed with some technical details shared by the working manufacturer. The McLaren Senna GTR will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine which is under the hood of every McLaren road and track car except its F1 team. In the Senna GTR, this motor will churn out 813 bhp and 800 Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the McLaren Senna GTR will produce a good 1000 kg of downforce which is enough even by track car standards.
