Indian auto giant Tata Motors will be revealing the prototypes of its all-new products at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. The company plans to unveil the much awaited Jeep Compass rival codenamed H5, while the Maruti Suzuki Baleno rivaling X451 premium hatchback will also make its debut. There is also a new LCV scheduled to be unveiled at the expo on February 7, 2018, in addition to a host of new mobility solutions.

The new Lexus LS 500h made its first public debut at the 2017 Detroit Motor Show and just a year later it's all set to be launched in India on January 15, 2018. Lexus has set itself apart as a manufacturer in India and with the LS 500h it's yet again set to enter the market with a hybrid vehicle. There's a lot that this car has to offer and we take a look at some of the finer points.

Nissan is working on a few concepts over the years and it has been constantly using the platform of automotive shows to showcase their future for mobility concepts and this year's Detroit Motor Show will be no different. The company has released a couple of videos which appear to be hinting at an autonomous car followed by some vague captions like 'imagine a place where technology is inviting', or even 'nature is always within reach', all of which is accompanied by some dramatic background music.

Hyundai has started testing the new 2018 Santro Europe as well and a prototype model was spied undergoing cold weather testing. The India-spec model is likely to make its debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018.

A test mule of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT sedan was spotted, possibly undergoing the final stages of testing before its official debut. The Mercedes-AMG GT sedan will be the fourth addition to the GT family and is expected to make its global debut in the first half of 2018.

The new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift was recently spotted in India ahead of its official launch. The car was seen sans camouflage and with all the necessary production badging. Maruti Suzuki India is expected to launch the car by late February or early March 2018.

The next-gen Mercedes-Benz GLS was recently spotted undergoing cold weather testing ahead of its global unveiling later this year. Still covered in heavy camouflage, the new-gen is expected to break cover in the second half of 2018.

The BMW 8 Series concept was unveiled with much fanfare in 2017 and previewed the production spec model that was to follow. But leaked images emerged on the internet have revealed the exterior of the new BMW 8 Series coupe, well ahead of its official debut later this year. The all-new model replaces the 6 Series in BMW's line-up and will be positioned above the 7 Series luxury saloon as the German automaker's new halo offering.
