Maruti Suzuki is all set to tread a very new path with its new Ignis. The Japanese carmaker calls it Premium Urban Compact car and despite a small footprint the car still has a generous wheelbase which means theres more space on the inside of the car. Now, weve already told you about the launch date of the car and yes, its 13th January, 2017 and thats not far away. Itll be the first launch of the new year and we surely look forward to it.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis, the long awaited subcompact crossover from the Indo-Japanese carmaker was recently spotted in India sans camouflage. Maruti is all set to unveil the production version of the car later this week on 15th December, with the launch slated for 13th January 2017.

The 2017 Renault Kaptur was recently spotted testing in India for the first time. Renault revealed the car in Russia early this year and it is expected to go on sale in India in the second half of 2017. In India the car will be positioned above the Duster SUV.

2016 has been a very good year for Maruti Suzuki with one of its biggest launches in a while, the Vitara Brezza taking centre stage in terms of sales and growing market share. Products like the Baleno, Swift and the Alto keep growing in terms of sales figures too and with Nexas new Ignis just around the corner, 2017 will start off on a positive note for the Indias largest car maker. However, the Ignis is not the next big thing for Maruti Suzuki. That honour would go to the next generation Swift.

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis will be the next big launch from the Indian automaker and is all set to be introduced on 13th January in the country. The Ignis will be the third model from Maruti to be sold via Nexa dealerships and will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options.
