The Model Y will mark Tesla's entry into the compact crossover segment. It's basically a smaller version of the existing Model X and it was teased at the company's shareholder meeting.

The much-anticipated Audi Q8 coupe-SUV luxury coupe-SUV has been officially unveiled today and boy this one is a looker. This is the first coupe-SUV from the Ingolstadt-based carmaker and will be the range-topping model in Audi's Q line-up, which was up until now led by the Audi Q7.

The off-road Jeep Compass Trailhawk version will be available in both petrol and diesel versions at the time of its launch.

Jeep has officially teased the upcoming face lifted version of the popular Renegade SUV. The Jeep Renegade facelift will be launched this week on June 6 at the Turin Motor Show and will be the global premier of the SUV. The Jeep Renegade will be priced cheaper than the extremely popular Jeep Compass.

FCA's most profitable company 'Jeep' has some big launches lined up over the next five years including a new entry-level SUV. While speculations were rife of a small SUV to join the Jeep stable, the presentation yesterday revealed an A/B segment Jeep SUV indeed in the making. To be positioned below the Jeep Renegade, the American automaker will be entering the sub 4-metre SUV segment with the all-new offering.

With the world moving quickly towards electric mobility, it is no surprise that automakers are scrambling all their resources to bring out the one body style that everyone really wants - the crossover or SUV. BMW has already announced an all-electric SUV by 2020 with the new iX3 and now a larger electric SUV is slated for launch in 2021 - the BMW iNEXT. The new BMW iNEXT will be the size of the current BMW X3 and will take on the likes of the Jaguar iPace. The iNEXT will serve as a flagship model for the BMW i lineup until of course, as always, it is shadowed by a larger and more flamboyant SUV.

The India-bound Volvo XC40 is the Swedish giant's smallest crossover yet, and the model certainly has taken the fancy of potential buyers across the globe. Keeping up with the strong demand, the automaker has now announced that it will be ramping up production of the XC40 to meet nearly 80,000 orders for the SUV. The Swedish offering is manufactured at the Geely-owned Volvo's Ghent facility in Belgium and will also commence at the Luqiao plant in China from the first half of 2019.
