Pros Cons of BMW G 310 GS

Pros

  • Versatile budget ADV motorcycle
  • Good Ride quality
  • Comfortable riding position

Cons

  • No traction control or cornering ABS
  • Expensive
  • Not a true off-roader

Verdict

The BMW G 310 GS offers good performance on the road, be it smooth or broken. It is also game for mild off-roading and light trail-riding but anything more extreme, you might want to look at other options and at ₹ 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) it doesn't quite fall in the realm of affordable. If you are looking for something more rugged and industrial, you could check out the Royal Enfield Himalayan which is almost half the price of the G 310 GS.

Pros Cons KTM RC 390

Pros

  • Sharply styled
  • High on performance & handling
  • Extremely value-friendly

Cons

  • Polarising new design
  • Finish could be better
  • Too compact for taller riders

Verdict

The next-generation KTM RC 390 has become more accessible and friendlier so even if you’re upgrading from a smaller bike, the new KTM RC 390 is comfortable to ride. With the new updates, it has become a bike that is more suited for everyday use, and for a minority of users who want to cut their teeth on a racetrack, it still offers a capable and potent track tool. Prices though have gone up by ₹ 36,000, it still makes a very strong case as a performance-oriented and well-equipped sports bike.
