Verdict
The Honda Dio is the most exported scooter from Honda to other markets. It is a stylish 110 cc that serves as a nice alternative to the Activa. The Dio lacks features and has an average build quality. But it makes up in the styling department, with fancy colours, cool graphics and sporty performance. The Dio could be the ideal scooter for college-goers and young professionals. The ownership cost is very close to that of the Honda Activa.

The TVS XL 100 is a high-selling moped with exceptional load carrying capacity. More buyers in the rural parts of the country, the XL 100 is hardy and rugged. Small fuel tank and moped design may not be to everyone's liking. It is hardy workhorse and can be seen in use especially in rural areas and tier II cities, with many using them as transport vehicles for small goods. The XL100 comes in three variants - heavy duty, heavy duty special and comfort.
