Cons

A wider rear tyre would have enhanced the Raider's sporty appearance and road presence.
The SmartXonnect connectivity package is not standard across all variants of the Raider.
The Eco and Power modes offer only mild throttle responses and don't feel too different to most riders.
Its aggressive LED headlamp styling may not appeal to all buyers.
The rear drum brake setup on lower variants does not align with its sporty positioning.

Verdict

The TVS Raider 125 offers a nice mix of sporty appeal and a commuter motorcycle's practicality. What's nice is that it also offers adequate performance, modern features, comfortable ergonomics, and easy handling without compromising on fuel efficiency or affordability.

If your priority is a stylish and feature-packed everyday motorcycle that feels more exciting than the rest of the 125cc motorcycles, the Raider deserves a quick look. However, if you prefer a more conservative design or distinct variations from its riding modes, then its strengths may not stand out in everyday riding.
