There has been strong dialogue on what the next James Bond movies should include. Should it be a woman portraying the character ala Jane Bond, or should it feature a person of colour on the titular role. There's also an entire debate going on, if the character should be British. While there are enough yays and nays on each of those issues, one thing we all can agree upon is that an electric Aston Martin will certainly suit the MI6 Agent. And that seems to be the case with the next Bond movie. According to a report by The Sun, the upcoming movie in the spy franchise could feature the Aston Martin Rapide E alongside Agent 007. Currently dubbed as 'Bond 25', the upcoming feature-flick is scheduled for release in April 2020.
Kia Motors America (KMA) in partnership with Amazon Home Services has announced a new program for its plug-in vehicle customers. The program will see Amazon sell and install electric vehicle charging stations at the customers house or office. The tie-up makes Kia, the second automaker after Tesla in America to offer the service online with the electric charging network. The manufacturer says the process of purchasing and installing a charging station will be as easy as buying other products on Amazon.
As Tesla unveiled its all-new Model Y today, a tweet from Elon Musk now suggests that he would love to bring Tesla to India this year. If not this then definitely in 2020.
The Model Y has been built from the ground up by Tesla and though it's based on the Model 3, it has a low centre of gravity, rigid body structure and large crumple zones which provide good protection to passengers.

Audi is testing factory vehicles powered by used lithium-ion batteries at its main plant in Ingolstadt. Audi is obliged by law to take back energy carriers after they have been used in cars because they still have a large proportion of their original charging capacity. An interdisciplinary project team is now investigating how batteries from the Audi e-tron test vehicles, for example, or from hybrid models such as the Audi A3 e-tron and Audi Q7 e-tron, can continue to be used sensibly. A number of other advantages have already become apparent during the test phase.
Tata Motors has announced its partnership Delhi-based Wise Travel India (WTi) for the supply of the Tigor electric vehicles. The Indian auto giant has signed an MoU with WTi and will be deploying the Tigor EVs in its fleet used in ground transportation for people in the B2B space. The first batch of Tata Tigor EVs was handed over to WTi officials in Delhi. The company though has not revealed how many electric cars will be supplied to Wise Travel India as part of the tie-up.
