Tata Zest - 2015 CNB Viewers' Choice Award Nominee

HorizonNext called for a change when it came to not only products by Tata Motors, but also a better sales and service network. Tata Zest was the company's first step in this direction. Tata Motors was the first company to come up with the idea of a sub-4 metre sedan with the Indigo CS.
Of course, the company did well but clearly companyies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Honda have become formidable players in this segment and Tata couldn't capitalize on being the first here. The Zest moves away from certain conventional Tata products but doesn't move far away from the likes of the Indica or Manza when it comes to looks.
Under the hood, the Zest receives a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and the 1.3-litre diesel mill. It is also the first model in the country to come with an automatic transmission in the diesel variant. The AMT variant however comes sans any safety features. The Zest comes with a host of features which is the car's main USP.
