Bengaluru Police Adds 911 TVS Apache RTR 160 Bikes To Its Fleet

The Karnataka government has added 911 motorcycles to the Bengaluru City Police fleet in a bid to improve patrolling and keep a tab on criminal activities around the state capital. The state government presented the bikes to the police officials earlier this week.

    Piaggio's Aprilia SR 150 has earned a reputation of being a fun 150 cc scooter in the market and the model is all set to be updated with ABS in January 2019. The Aprilia SR 150 ABS will start arriving at dealerships starting next year and bookings are already open for the updated model. The Aprilia SR 150 willl now come the single-channel ABS system with prices starting at Rs. 82,000 for the standard version, while the SR 150 Carbon is priced at Rs. 83,000. The range-topping Aprilia SR 150 Race is priced at Rs. 88,000 (all prices, ex-showroom). That's a hike of almost 10,000 over the non-ABS versions. Earlier this year, Piaggio had introduced the refreshed versions of the Aprilia SR 150 and the Vespa range in the country with new connectivity features and colour options.

    Royal Enfield has been updating its line-up with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) since August this year, ahead of the April 2019 deadline. Joining its line-up of ABS equipped models is the Classic 350 Redditch Edition that now gets the safety feature. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch Edition ABS is priced at Rs. 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it about Rs. 6000 more expensive than the non-ABS version. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X ABS was introduced last month priced at Rs. 1.63 lakh and followed up with the launch of the Thunderbird 500X ABS priced at Rs. 2.13 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
