The overall two-wheeler industry grew by over 10 per cent in the first two quarters of the financial year. Honda, TVS, Suzuki, Royal Enfield and Piaggio grew above average in two-wheeler sales in the same period.

The Honda CBR1000RR a.k.a. the Honda Fireblade this year completes 25 years in the market. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of this iconic motorcycle, Honda Motor Company recently organised a special riding event at Rockingham, UK.

In August alone, Piaggio registered sales growth of 189 per cent in the company's range of 125 cc and 150 cc scooters. But overall, it's the 150 cc scooter segment which is displaying increasing sales volumes and growth, registering a massive 346 per cent growth.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has decided not to introduce the manual version of the Honda Africa Twin in India. The Africa Twin is available in only the automatic, dual clutch transmission (DCT) variant in India, and it already has attracted tremendous market response in India.

Deliveries of the BS IV Royal Enfield Himalayan have begun across India. The BS IV compliant RE Himalayan gets a fuel-injected engine instead of a carburetted engine. It is priced at Rs. 1.83 lakh (on-road, Delhi)

Ducati will soon be launching the Scrambler Mach 2.0 in India. A tweet from Ducati India's official Twitter handle confirmed the same. The Scramber Mach 2.0 gets a new colour scheme and a couple of new bits. Expect a marginal increase in price over the regular Scrambler.

Ducati has finally taken the wraps off its brand new V4 engine which it calls Desmosedici Stradale. This is the first ever V4 engine from Ducati and the first Panigale superbike with this V4 engine will be launched on 5 November, 2017.
