Is the Yamaha FZ-X comfortable for long-distance riding?

The Yamaha FZ-X manages relaxed long rides rather than fast ones. Its plush seat and upright posture stay comfortable for hours, but the engine is happiest at 70 to 80 kmph and works hard beyond that. Riders who cruise gently will enjoy it, and highway-speed tourers will not.
