Pros Cons of Suzuki Burgman

Pros

    • The 124 cc single-cylinder engine now has a slightly stronger mid-range grunt.
    • With a 25 per cent stiffer chassis, the handling feels more composed and so does high-speed stability.
    • Its 12-inch front and rear wheels makes it look more proportionate.
    • There’s a full-colour TFT display with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation and more.
    • It has keyless ignition through a key fob that also gives you remote seat opening.
    • An external fuel filler hatch and extended floorboards let you stretch your legs and improve comfort.
    • It returned 43-44 kmpl during our efficiency tests.

Cons

    • Without ABS, the front wheel is prone to locking up under heavy braking.
    • The 115 kg weight and maxi-size bodywork focus on straight-line stability rather than agility.
    • It has an older Type-A USB port instead of a modern Type-C port.
    • The top-spec TFT variant is considerably costlier over the base version.

Verdict

The 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street is a more refined maxi-scooter than earlier. The looks, mechanical updates, a stiffer chassis, larger 12-inch rear wheel, keyless ignition, and a sharp TFT screen improve the overall experience by a fair margin.

Preetam Bora correctly pointed out in his review, “If you're an urban commuter who values style and features over pure sportiness, the new Burgman Street 125 is the scooter for you.”

However, missing out on ABS remains a clear oversight by Suzuki, especially when its Access 125 does. Nevertheless, if you want a comfortable, decently equipped, robust and reasonably frugal 125 cc scooter with that all-out maxi look, the Burgman is a safe choice.
