Pros

  • Stylish cruiser design
  • Decent performance
  • Feature rich motorcycle

Cons

  • Relatively unknown brand

  • Expensive

Verdict

The SRV 300 roadster gets a retro design such as the teardrop tank and round light clusters but gets a more raked front fork and a lower set stepped seat. Powering the bike is a 296 cc, liquid-cooled, V-Twin engine developing 29.8 bhp and 26 Nm paired with a six-speed gearbox. The SRV features a USD fork up front with twin telescopic shocks at the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at the front and rear with dual-channel ABS. The SRV 300 roadster is priced at Rs. 3.49 lakh and while it is a good proposition, the brand recall is negligible.

Pros Cons FB Mondial HPS 300

Pros

  • Stylish Motorcycle
  • Decent performance
  • Lightweight motorcycle

Cons

  • No sales and service
  • No resale value

Verdict

The FB Mondial HPS 300 is essentially a retro-scrambler which has a lovely minimalistic design and looks quite sexy. The HPS 300 gets a chiselled fuel tank along with a flat seat and knobby off-road that gives the bike proper old-school charm. The bike gets a 249 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine which makes about 24 bhp and 22 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Now, the thing is that the motorcycle has been discontinued and finding a model in the used two-wheeler market. Our suggestion will be to stay away from the motorcycle.
