The 2020 Honda WR-V facelift has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 8.50 lakh, going up to Rs. 10.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The updated version of the crossover was initially slated for launch in April this year but the Coronavirus pandemic delayed the proceedings. Nevertheless, the BS6 compliant version of the WR-V is here and comes with refreshed styling, new features and updated petrol and diesel engines under the bonnet. The new WR-V facelift will be offered in only two variants - SV and VX - on both engines, which means more feature-packed options for the customer.

The 2020 Honda WR-V facelift will be launched in India on July 2. Initially expected to go on sale in India in April, Honda had already begun accepting bookings for the new WR-V facelift. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resultant lockdown, the company had to postpone the launch to July.

The 2017 Honda WR-V was recently spotted at a dealership stockyard ahead of its official launch next month. Rumoured to be launched on the 16th of March 2017, the car will go up against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.

Honda Cars India has announced new special editions for three of its popular models including the Honda City, BR-V and WR-V. The special versions include the Honda City Edge Edition, Honda WR-V Alive Edition and the Honda BR-V Style Edition. Prices for the special editions range from Rs. 8.02 lakh for the WR-V, going up to Rs. 13.74 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi) for the BR-V. Each model gets a feature upgrade with the new special edition, and are available on specific variants of the respective cars.
