Fuel prices in India have been hiked for the fourth consecutive day today, with petrol rates going up by up to 31 paise per litre, and diesel becoming dearer by up to 37 paise per litre.

The organiser of the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) have announced that the 2022 edition of the show will be cancelled, due to issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. The motor show has been cancelled for the third time.

Total vehicle registrations stood at 12,96,257 units in September this year, witnessing a decline of 5.27 per cent over the same period last year. However, when compared to 15,56,777 units sold in August 2021, the industry witnessed an MoM decline of 11%.
