TVS sees its sales for December 2022 drop marginally, compared to last year.

Auto sales numbers are keenly watched as they are among the key indicators for assessing private consumption, which has more than 50% weightage in calculating the country's economic growth.

The CES 2023 is set to kick off in Las Vegas, USA from January 5.

Nissan India's domestic sales for the month stood at 2,020 units while export sales reached 6971 units. Also, the company's year-to-date (YTD) sales grew 19 per cent, as against the cars sold in April to December 2021.

The carmaker reported a 27 per cent growth in sales over 2021 with strong demand coming from the e-tron Gt and RS e-tron GT

Hero MotoCorp sold 394,179 units overall in December 2022, with domestic sales of 381,365 units and exports of 12,814 units.

In December 2022 company’s domestic tractor sales for the month stood at 21,640 units witnessing a growth of 30 per cent, while exports stood at at 1603 units, up by 1 per cent.

Mahindra's SUV sales went up by 62 per cent selling 28,333 units as compared to 17,469 units sold a year ago.
