Vijay Rupani, the chief minister of Gujarat, announced the latest EV Policy for the state, wherein subsidies of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh will be provided on purchase of electric vehicles. The state will provide Rs. 870 crore over a period of four years as subsidy support.

It already counts 1.3 million shippers and 2.8 million truckers and it had generated $396 million in sales.
