Japan aims to achieve the 20 per cent market share by boosting global output capacity at Japanese companies nearly 10-fold to 600 gigawatt hours (GWh), the industry ministry said.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Ola Electric said that the company has been testing an autonomous vehicle for nearly six months now and the car will be launched in the global markets by late 2023 or early 2024.

The company aims to use debt as a new expansion funnel along with the current leasing strategy, as it plans to deploy 1.5 lakh electric scooters in India by 2025.

Both companies will strategically identify charging sites, garner consumer insights, devise loyalty programs, and create technology to manage charging systems.
