Motorshows have always been about cars or bikes but not much about engines. However, at the Paris Motorshow Infiniti brought us a glimpse of one the future of engines. Now, if you think practically, varying an engine's compression ratio has always been a target for most manufacturers. Squeezing the air and sometimes the fuel too is extremely crucial if you consider making the engine efficient. So, varying this ability (compression ratio) is understandably an arduous task but Infiniti seems to have cracked the code with its new Variable Compression-Turbocharged (VC-T) engine which is code named MR20 DDT.

After releasing the official images of the new Hyundai Grand i10, (known as just i10 in Europe) the South Korean carmaker today finally showcased the car at the Paris Motor Show 2016.

South Korean car maker SsangYong has officially revealed the LIV-2 Concept (Limitless Interface Vehicle) at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The LIV-2 concept study previews a future production large premium SUV for the Mahindra-owned company and is a strategic product for the automaker when it will go into production next year.

The BMW X2 Concept was in the works for quite some time now. It is the latest attempt from the Bavarian company to add to its 'X' range of SUVs. The X2 will be a compact SUV, which BMW says, will carry a different design language from other 'X' SUVs. BMW says the X2 is the perfect compact SUV which will have a solid sporting appeal in the urban environment.

Mercedes-Benz took the wraps off the highly anticipated AMG GT Roadster and the AMG GT C Roadster. Both these models belong to the AMG GT R family and will be available for sale from February, 2017 onwards across Europe.

Honda has unveiled the Civic Type R Concept II, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. ,The car proves to be a preview of the production model which will go on sale in Europe next year. The details of the specifications are kept under wraps but have said that the car deliver unmatched performance compared to any previous Type R car.

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its Sub brand for electric cars. It'll be called EQ. Audi has its e-trons and BMW has its i models, and now Mercedes-Benz follows suit.

As a preview of its new design language, French carmaker Renault today unveiled the new all-electric Trezor concept at the Paris Motor Show 2016. The new EV concept comes with a radical design that will be incorporated in Renault's future models.
