Earlier in 2016, Infiniti first revealed its QX Sport Concept at the Beijing Motor Show, which was touted to be direct competition to the likes of BMW X3 and so on. The QX Inspiration that is on show at Paris is slightly different from the one that was shown in Beijing. The matte grey paint, larger 22-inch aluminium alloys and low profile tyres are the differentiating points. Infiniti believes that the QX Sport Inspiration is its vision for a next-gen premium mid-sized SUV.
Mercedes-Benz showcased the plug-in hybrid version of the GLC at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and this might be one of the products that we'll see making its way to India. South Korean car maker SsangYong has officially revealed the LIV-2 Concept (Limitless Interface Vehicle) at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The LIV-2 concept study previews a future production large premium SUV for the Mahindra-owned company and is a strategic product for the automaker when it will go into production next year.
The BMW X2 Concept was in the works for quite some time now. It is the latest attempt from the Bavarian company to add to its 'X' range of SUVs. The X2 will be a compact SUV, which BMW says, will carry a different design language from other 'X' SUVs. BMW says the X2 is the perfect compact SUV which will have a solid sporting appeal in the urban environment.
Mercedes-Benz took the wraps off the highly anticipated AMG GT Roadster and the AMG GT C Roadster. Both these models belong to the AMG GT R family and will be available for sale from February, 2017 onwards across Europe.
Honda has unveiled the Civic Type R Concept II, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. ,The car proves to be a preview of the production model which will go on sale in Europe next year. The details of the specifications are kept under wraps but have said that the car deliver unmatched performance compared to any previous Type R car.
