Highlights

  • Honda H'ness CB 350 DLX Pro priced at Rs. 2 lakh (Ex-showroom)
  • 349 cc engine makes 20.8 bhp at 5,500 rpm, 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm
  • 19-inch front alloy wheel, 18-inch rear alloy wheel with tubeless tyres

The Honda H'Ness CB 350 is Honda's retro-styled roadster, designed to take on a segment ruled by Royal Enfield. With its design inspired by Honda's storied B series range of roadsters, the new H'Ness CB 350 oozes old world charm. The long and wide fuel tank with the retro-styled Honda badge is a definite nod to Honda roadsters from the '70s and '80s. The 349 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 20.8 bhp at 5,500 rpm, but the 30 Nm of torque is best in class, and peaks at a low 3,000 rpm.

The Honda has a smooth and refined engine, but its gearing is tuned to seek more downshifts, and the engine, though refined, asks for more revs to keep its performance in a happy place. Although top speed is well over 125 kmph, the Honda does require a downshift or two for overtakes. The alloy wheels are shod with tubeless tyres from MRF and come in a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination. Here's a look at the pros and cons of the Honda H'Ness CB 350.
