Joining forces with Kinetic Motoroyale for its future operations in India, Hyosung has launched the GT 250 RC and 650 Aquila Pro in India priced at Rs 3.39 Lakh and Rs 5.55 lakh, respectively (all prices are ex-showroom, India). Kinetic Motoroyale has joined hands with five global motorcycle makers that will be operating under its umbrella in India. In the first phase, Motoroyale has launched seven new motorcycles and will start operations in six metro cities where all the five brands will retail their motorcycles.

This is the first time FB Mondial is making an appearance in India. Among the 8 motorcycles launched, FB Mondial HPS 300 is the most affordable model.

MV Agusta has launched the Brutale 800 RR at Rs 18.99 Lakh while Norton has launched two motorcycles the Commando 961 Sport MKII priced at Rs. 20.99 lakh and Dominator priced at Rs. 23.70 lakh. SWM has also launched two motorcycles, Superdual T Base and Superdual T priced at Rs. 6.80 lakh and Rs. 7.30 lakh, respectively while F.B. Mondial too launched the Hipster 300 priced at Rs 3.37 lakh. Lastly, Hyosung who earlier operated under the DSK brand earlier, has also joined Motoroyale and launched the GT 250 RC priced at Rs. 3.39 lakh and Aquila 650 cruiser priced at Rs. 5.55 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India.

Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Autotech has announced the launch of the a new version to the Ridge electric scooter. The Okinawa Ridge+ is the new lithium-ion battery powered version and has been priced at Rs. 64,998 (ex-showroom, India). The new Okinawa Ridge+ uses an 800 watt, BLDC water-proof motor and extends the scooter's range to a claimed 120 km in a single charge. The Ridge+ will be sold alongside the standard Okinawa Ridge that used a lead battery. The new Ridge+ is substantially more expensive than the lead battery powered Ridge by about Rs. 21,000.

The change in service intervals leads up to a reduction of up to 34 per cent in after sales services cost.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), Honda's wholly-owned Indian subsidiary, is organising a nationwide talent hunt to select 10 riders and impart them training in racing to become future Indian icons in global racing.

Peugeot Two-Wheelers is now a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group and it was only expected that both brands will be collaborating to make two-wheelers at some point. While an official announcement on that front is yet to happen, we may have caught a glimpse of the collaboration at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The Peugeot P2X Cafe Racer and Roadster concepts were revealed at the Annual event, but what's more interesting is that the models use the Mahindra Mojo as the donor motorcycle.

Having been spotted at a dealership recently, the TVS Jupiter Grande special edition has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 55,936 for the drum version, and Rs. 59,648 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi) for the Disc version. The new edition aims to bring some novelty to the Jupiter amidst the festive season and improve sales further on the country's second best-selling scooter. Most noticeably, the TVS Jupiter Grande is finished in the special Starlight Blue shade, while there are a host of other upgrades on offer.
